Several years ago, after dealing with the deficiencies in the GPS tracking companies at the time, we began development of what is now TrackMI.
Technology, operability, efficiency, cost and customer service were our focal points when developing the system. Once developed, the system and hardware were rigorously field tested and improved upon for over a year before rolling out the service in early 2020. Our GPS devices were sourced, tested, customized and optimized to operate as required in the investigative realm.
Since TrackMI is operated as a division of Advantage Investigations and Research, LLC, a Professional Investigative Agency licensed and operating in the State of Michigan, our service is FULLY anonymous, and we have FULL confidential privilege between our clients. The PI/Client Privilege is the same as Attorney/Client Privilege or Clergy Privilege and has been tested in court numerous times; this truly makes our service anonymous and confidential.

Our Devices
Our GPS devices were sourced, tested, customized and optimized to operate as needed in the investigative realm. All of our devices operate on 4G/LTE standard. Unlike 3G which many of you were forced to "upgrade" to a few years ago and is now completely obsolete (forcing another upgrade), 4G/LTE is a standard that will be around for a very long time.
The TM-17 is our flagship device and is custom manufactured exclusively for us. The TM-17 is designed to provide exceptional longevity without sacrificing accuracy. This device is capable of 5 second to 24 hour update frequencies and has the capability of lasting up to 8 weeks in normal real-time tracking mode (with moderate driving) and up to two years on a single charge with 24 hour updates. Update frequency can be set and changed on-the-fly through the TrackMI web platform.
The TM-17 is a self contained, water resistant unit with powerful built-in magnets and does not require a special charger or cable; it uses a standard micro-USB cable which is included with the device. It measures just 4.25" by 3" by 0.9" and weighs less than 9 ounces and can be mounted vertically as well as horizontally and will fit where the others will not.
We also have OBDII and hard-wire devices available for long-term and Fleet Tracking applications.
TM-902 OBDII Tracker
The TM-902 OBDII Tracker easily plugs into the diagnostic port of any vehicle. It contains built-in backup battery and provides an alert when the device is removed from the port. This is primarily used for Fleet Tracking applications.
TM-20 Hardwired GPS Tracker
The TM-20 Hardwired GPS Tracker is wired into the vehicle and is capable of monitoring several parameters such as Ignition on/off Oil pressure, and several other parameters. It can also be equipped with a "kill switch" that turns off the vehicle's fuel pump remotely.

TM-17 Magnetic GPS Tracker
The TM-17 is our flagship device. It is a fully self contained portable device with strong magnets primarily used for investigations and asset tracking.
