Advantage Investigations DropCam Terms of Service
Advantage Investigations researches the placement addresses provided via GIS mapping, satellite imaging and street level imaging to ensure that the address is suitable and that the proper equipment is utilized.
In the event that street level imaging is not available or does not match the current conditions and the address is no longer suitable or different equipment needs to be used, the client is still responsible for placement charges and additional placement attempts with different equipment, if applicable.
If up-to-date imaging is not available, Advantage Investigations may need to physically assess the location in person to determine the suitability of equipment to be used and the client may be charged additional fees for the assessment.
Advantage Investigations specializes in technological placement assistance and confirms all devices and equipment are operational prior to departing the area of placement.
Advantage Investigations is NOT RESPONSIBLE for unforeseen conditions such as network outages, weather, animals, debris, leaves, dust accumulation, growth of grass or foliage, vehicles blocking camera, equipment being damaged or removed by a third party, etc.
*If any device or other equipment placed by Advantage Investigations is discovered, damaged or removed by a third party, Advantage Investigations will retain responsibility for the damaged device or missing equipment unless damage or discovery is a direct result of the client’s actions. Advantage Investigations will NOT ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY beyond the cost of damaged device or missing equipment.
Client will be responsible for placement, mileage, retrieval, daily rental and custom setup fees in the event of unforeseen conditions or actions by 3rd party.
*During initial assessment, If a camera placement is believed to be at “high risk” for discovery, Advantage Investigations may negotiate additional costs in the event the device is damaged or removed by a 3rd party.
Subcontract fee schedule effective January 1, 2024:
